Plan Perfectly & FREE Printable Gift Planning Calendar

Plan Perfectly & FREE Printable Gift Planning Calendar

First off, let's get something out of the way. I am in no way, shape, or form an expert in planning or organization. In fact, one of the reasons I am writing this blog post about planning is because I need help!  I love lists and believe with my whole heart that they are effective but I usually lose them before I can actually check anything off. I really do try to be organized with chore charts, dinner menus, and grocery lists, but most times I come up short.  Please, please say there is someone out there nodding their head in agreement?!?!

In an effort to be more organized and scheduled, we have added "Planning" as the first step in our 3-step process to choose and present a more thoughtful gift.  If you haven't signed up yet, click here for more info.

Like we have said in the past, Brooke and I are very different in the way we approach things. As we were creating the printable calendar included in our 3-step gift giving system, we both had very different ideas of how we would use the calendar. I had the vision of a list of monthly birthdays that could be displayed loud and proud in my living room. On the other hand, it made more sense for Brooke to put the list in sheet protectors and stick it in a binder for ease of use. So lucky for you, we've created a printable that can be used multiple ways.

Here is the steps to creating  the "Jess" version of our gift calendar. (I bought all of these items at good ol' Hobby Lobby.

ITEMS NEEDED:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Paint or cover bracket-shaped wood with scrapbook paper. (I used patterned vinyl from Hobby Lobby).
  2. Paint wood rectangle color of choice.
  3. Attach wooden rectangle to bracket wood piece.
  4. Attach clip to top of rectangle with hot glue or adhesive of choice.
  5. Fold gift calendar printable in half and attach with clip.

That's it!  As you can see we have included lines to list out recipients. The other half of the calendar is a place to figure out what your recipient would love. We are excited to see what you come up with!  Tag us on Instagram @twosistershavingtoomuchfun to show us your creations!  Click here for the printable!
